INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS


RIGHT AND LEFT SIDES ARE AS IF YOU WERE SEATED ON MOTORCYCLE
REMOVE LOWER FAIRINGS
DRAIN AND REMOVE RADIATOR
REMOVE TIMING BELT COVERS
REMOVE BOLT FROM CRANKSHAFT END
DISCARD BOLT AND WASHERS
INSTALL PULLEY ON CRANKSHAFT USING BOLT SUPPLIED WITH KIT
PULLEY SHOULD SEAT AGAINST OUTER TIMING BELT PULLEY
SHORTEN RIGHT TIMING BELT COVER PER PHOTO BELOW
INSTALL COVER BOLT EXTENSION FAR LEFT SIDE OF MOTOR
REINSTALL RIGHT TIMING BELT COVER USING OUTSIDE BOLT ONLY,
LIGHTLY TIGHTEN
TRIM OFF EXCESS GASKET AT CUT OFF END OF COVER
PLACE BEAD OF SILICONE ON ALTERNATOR ADAPTOR COVER
AT MOTOR CONTACT POINT (INSTEAD OF GASKET)
PLACE ALTERNATOR BELT OVER CRANKSHAFT PULLEY
GUIDE BELT INTO COVER AS IT IS INSTALLED ON MOTOR
INSTALL TWO REMAINING COVER BOLTS AND TIGHTEN ALL THREE
HOOK BELT OVER ALTERNATOR AS ALTERNATOR IS INSTALLED
ADJUST TENSION AND TIGHTEN DOWN ALTERNATOR
FILL GAPS WHERE COVERS OVERLAP WITH SILICONE FROM KIT
INSTALL EXTENDERS ON RADIATOR STUDS AND INSTALL RADIATOR.
RADIATOR SHOULD CLEAR ADAPTOR COVER BY 1/4"
WIRE ALTERNATOR PER INSTRUCTIONS
REPLACE FAIRINGS TRIMMING IF NEEDED








DRAW LINE ON COVER FOR CUTTING-PRECISION NOT REQUIRED
CUT OFF END OF COVER MUST BREAK INTO HOLE TO CLEAR BELT PULLEY
